Hi there! Thank you so much for looking me up. And also thank your friend, social media, or the internet for leading you to me! When I was 11 years old, I picked up my first film camera and became the family photographer. As a result, there are no pictures of me as a child. Therapy has taught me to focus on the positives, which I am lucky enough to have. I have two beautiful children of my own that I frequently photograph. No pets at the moment, but I'd love to photograph yours if you're interested. My oldest is trying to convince me to adopt a dog. Things I will do in our photography session: 1) Get your kids to smile, run around like a crazy person, dance with abandon, make faces & moo like a cow (as needed). 2) Encourage lots of play (even a little naughtiness). 3) Embrace messy hair, fingers in noses, and mismatched shoes. Things I will not do at our photography session: 1) Ask your kids to smile. 2) Expect your kids to cooperate or be on their best behavior. 3) Think your apartment is messy, cluttered, or too small. 4) Expect you to do anything (but please do put some clothes on and show up promptly). One of the reasons families love working with me is my relaxed and non-judgmental personality. I pride myself in having an amazing connection with my clients to the point that many of my younger ones ask their moms when they're meeting me again. I had one 5 year old request a shoot as their birthday gift. As well as photographing families and children; my practice includes business shoots and headshots. Making my clients feel comfortable in front of the camera, consequently bring out their best look and true self. Session lengths are an hour and can take place at your home, at an outdoor location, or both. I'm willing to travel to business locations with my collapsable studio for headshots. Sometimes things go wrong. There are meltdowns, sicknesses, and weather shenanigans. We can work around these and reschedule if need be. Photography sessions should never be a source of stress.
