Chaya, Master Photographer I'm Belgian. Wait, what, that's not enough? I thought you guys loved foreigners. I have an accent, too if that helps. No? Alright, here's a bit about myself. Growing up in Belgium (Just in case you missed that) I was always inspired by the small details of European life. The people, food, the architecture, even the air. Everything seemed to have it's own little story to tell, and there?s always been this urge in me to share the stories I see. Even now, all grown up (well, theoretically), we go back often, and I come back like a madwoman, photographing everything I see with a vengeance. But let's be honest. Details of buildings are cool, but what really floats my boat are people. People are INTERESTING. They've got this whole face and hair thing going on, with eyes that smile and cry, a mouth that pouts and grins, and a chin (or two) that speaks of days gone by. And the imperfections! Oh, the perfect imperfections. They make us who we are. And when two people get married. Oh man, I love photographing that! I love the dashing little princes, the mushy grandpas, and funny (ahem, drunk) uncles. I love the little moments, the frenetic pace, the energy, the dancing. I guess the bride and groom are cool as well. It?s challenging, and I thrive on that. I am Chaya, usually funny, sometimes snarky, always honest. Like what you see here? Throw an email my way and let's do this!
