The Fisherman family has been making some of Isreal's most prized hummus at their Tel-Aviv restaurant, Mifgash Hasteak, for over 50 years. In 2012, Ohad Joonam Fisherman moved to New York City and while he loved his new hometown, he missed real hummus.
